Use this unit to control the temperature of a refrigerator or freezer enabling you to brew Lager or Ales at correct temperatures. Your fridge or freezer plugs into this unit which is plugged into the wall. Temperature is maintained through a remote sensor inserted through either the door seal or a drilled hole. The controller then turns your refrigerator off and on to maintain the temperature. It has a 4 degree swing in order to save the compressor. For example, if you had it set at 60 degrees it would go to 56 degrees before turning off. The unit has the potential to regulate from 20 to 80 degrees, though if you are using a refrigerator you will not be able to go much below 40 degrees. With a freezer, you will be able to regulate the temperature below 40 degrees.
